A bilingual publication bringing together filmmaker Gu Tao’s diary entries, images and maps gathered through years of travelling across Northern China. Rather than following a linear narrative, the book unfolds as an ongoing map of his encounters with shamans, landscapes and communities along the way. I worked on the editorial design and art direction, shaping how these different materials come together across the book.
