Designing a living
visual identity for a heritage
restoration organisation
Founded in 1966, Rempart is a France-based union of associations dedicated to the restoration and protection of heritage. The union organises volunteer work camps or training courses to offer heritage restoration projects to everybody. While most of these camps are located in France, Rempart also facilitates overseas work camps in collaboration with local partner organisations.
This project embarked on creating a dynamic visual identity for Rempart, aiming to invigorate its image and engage younger generations. It sought to emphasise the significance of volunteer camps in fostering connections and showcase the lively atmosphere they offer. At the same time, the new visual identity paid homage to Rempart's extensive heritage and history. The new brand system includes logo, typography, colour scheme, brand book, and sample applications.
